F3 happens to stand for "Frantic, Frustrated, and Female", which pretty much describes young Hiroe Ogawa. The premise of this young girl attempting to reach orgasm is fairly blatant, and it's pretty obvious what this video is all about.
The first episode begins with little Hiroe, home alone, attempting to, uh, satisfy herself. Of course, her older sister, Mayaka, soon makes an unexpected return home and accidentally observes Hiroe in a rather comprising position. And being the loving sister that she is, she decides to help Hiroe with her "problem". You can probably guess where the story goes from there, as Hiroe tries all sorts of strange things including hypnotism, visiting a mad scientist, and a very weird (and pretty pointless) trip to a fortune teller.
The second episode is a bit more extreme than the first, involving poor Hiroe being forced into a sexual encounter by Takami, who tries to use Hiroe to get close to Mayaka. Now surprisingly, the highlight for me wasn't the group lesbian sex (which there is a lot of), but the humorous attempt to downplay Hiroe's relations to her mother and sister. Every time Hiroe would cry out "sister" or "Mom", a caption would appear stating something like, "I don't care what you say, Mayaka is just Hiroe's neighbor. Really." Or, "Yayoi is the landlady of the house where Hiroe and the others stay. Is that clear enough?". Believe me, it was very amusing stuff.
The final episode is quite a bit different than the first two in terms of style. For starters, the artwork is noticeably different and the characters have become a bit more stylized. Secondly, the story involves Hiroe being possessed by the spirit of an oversexed male. It actually seems like a spoof on horror hentai, as is pretty evident by the title, "Night of the F3". This episode was my personal favorite because it was so utterly strange and pretty funny at the same time. And once again, there's a little disclaimer about Hiroe's relations with her "sister" and "mother".
If you're in the mood for a silly little tale involving lesbians, then give F3 a look. It's pretty amusing and even a little charming, in its own way.
The Verdict: * * * 1/2 (above average)
