THE BEST! I WANT MORE!!! Oh, apparently my review needs to be more than 75 words, so, um... Oh! Yeah, after you sit through the first totally insane disks, in #6 they actually pull a plot out of their #$%. Hmmm. Not 75 words yet... Well, I really, really love this show, and I hope they make more soon. At least there is the manga to read, which differs a little bit from the anime mainly because it is still being written, but they are both worth the time!

This is one of the craziest anime I've ever seen. Although it really doesnt make too much sense, its still really funny. Excel is a chatterbox who works for an underground organization under the rule of Illpalazo (did i spell his name right? lol). Excel uses her cute dog, Menchi as an emergency food supply. Poor Menchi. Then's there Hyatt. She is really sick and dies quite often in very episode. The opening theme is really catchy and cute. I love the part in the opening where Excel and Hyatt are singing in the men's bath. This anime is really good and watchable. If you like insane groups wanting to take over the world, then this is the anime for u :)

A superb comedy about a secret organisation wgich tries to take over the world, one city at a time. You name it, the excel saga has it, right down to themed episodes. It's worth every cent.

The main character is secret agent Excel Excel. (Yep same last name as first.) She is extremly hyper, tough and completly dedicated to her organisation. Her sidekick is secret agent Hyatt, an incredibly unhealthy person, who tags along and helps out. Their boss is the nutty overlord Il Palazzo who seems to think the world iredeemably corupt and assigns Excel and Hyatt their wacky missions. There are plenty of extras too, many of whom die before the end.

Note: The Excel Saga recives an age rating of 17+, but only the final episode (#26) really justifies this rating. The rest are pretty clean other than cartoon violence and occasional bad language.
