Synopsis World Trigger 3rd Season

At the Border Defense Agency's headquarters, the B-Rank Wars are underway as each team fights intensely to secure a spot in the upcoming Away Mission. Though Osamu Mikumo and the rest of Tamakoma-2 have pulled through thus far, the final rounds will require them to push far beyond the limits of their current abilities. Taking in a talented new member, the squad begins to train and develop new strategies, but, amid these efforts, the team is shaken by a heated dispute—one that could jeopardize their ticket to the Neighbor's dimension.

Summary of the Story

The story of World Trigger engages us in a whirlwind of extraterrestrial warfare, strategic battles and fierce competition as young warriors strive to protect Earth. Earth’s last safeguard against the encroaching Neighbour invasion, an alien species from another dimension, is the Border Defence Agency. It is an organization filled with highly-trained teenage soldiers, known as ‘Border agents’, wielding ‘Triggers’, weapons made from the enemy alien technology.

At the heart of World Trigger’s high stakes narrative is Yuma Kuga, a transfer student with an unusual origin and a significant secret. He’s a ‘Neighbour’. Despite his alien origin, Yuma is different from the invaders. His peaceful intention lands him within the operations of Border, joining forces with Osamu Mikumo, a relatively low-ranking Border agent, and Chika Amatori an agent with massive energy reserve. Together, they form the extraordinarily effective Tamakoma Second Squad.
