Professor Agasa has created a computer program that can give you the identity of anyone in the world. He decides to use it on figuring out who Kaitou Kid is. Before he does, the program gives him a history of the Kid, as well as preview clips of the eighth movie. When he is about to finally figure out who the Kid is, Kid appears on the computer screen, announcing he has hacked the program.

The Story (Synopsis)
Our protagonist Jimmy Kudo, a high school detective turned elementary student, starts off another adventure in the 8th installment of the Detective Conan series, “Time Travel of the Silver Sky”. After a mix-up in a flight booking for his childhood friend and love interest, Rachel Moore, he finds himself traveling to the historical city of Sapporo for a mini-vacation. Accompanying them on this trip are their close pals from school and the ever-aloof private detective Richard Moore.
Once arrived, both Jimmy and Richard join hands with the local police, investigating a series of strange incidents eerily reminiscent of the allegedly cursed “Samurai Murder Case” from the Meiji Era. Our beloved junior detective must battle the elements, uncover the mystery, and prevent history from repeating itself.
