The Shingeki no Kyojin Movie 1: Guren no Yumiya is set in a dark, dystopian world where the remnants of humanity live behind towering walls in fear of enormous human-eating creatures known as Titans. Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert are three friends who dream of exploring the world beyond these walls one day. However, their lives change dramatically when the outermost wall is breached by the Titans, leading to devastation and mass murder.
